Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR)

If you’re a Minnesota resident donating to a qualified candidate for the Minnesota Legislature (House or Senate), you can request a refund of up to $75 per person or $150 for married couples filing jointly.

What you’ll need

  • Your donation receipt (keep your email receipt from Stripe).
  • Basic personal information for the refund form.
  • The official PCR form (see below).

How to request your refund

  1. Save your receipt. Keep the email receipt you received after donating.
  2. Download the PCR form. Use the Minnesota Department of Revenue’s form.
  3. Complete the form. Fill it out using your donation details and personal info.
  4. Submit to MN Revenue. Follow the submission instructions on the form.

Refund amounts: up to $75 for single filers, $150 for married filing jointly. Links provided by the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
